SHEFFIELD, U.K.—Phone Candy, a service that allows users to personalize their cell phones via the Internet, has added Garfield the cat to its options.
“The humor and fun of the Garfield character is perfect for mobile content,” said Matt Percival, Phone Candy’s operations director. “He’s a classic character who’s also an individual, and this collection offers users all over the world the chance to have fun, personalize their phones and make a statement at the same time.”
The Garfield collection includes logos, graphics, animated screen savers and color images. Phone Candy said it will add new options as more advanced technology becomes available, including full-color animation and digital audio.
