SAO PAULO, Brazil—3G Americas announced its endorsement of this year’s 3GSM Americas 2002 and the Mobile Evolution Expo, to begin December 4 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
“This event is absolutely essential for those investment analysts, regulators, and operators making critical decisions about new wireless investment,” said Richard Downes, director of Latin America and the Caribbean for 3G Americas. “It will provide the latest data on how the growing presence of GSM in the region is transforming the future of wireless in the region, both for 2G and 3G services.”
IBC Brazil and IBC Global Conferences organizers said they believe the recently announced theme of the upcoming conference, “Maximizing the return on your wireless investment,” is appropriate for the current state of the industry, both globally and more specifically in Latin America.
