ReefEdge provides wireless network for USENIX conference

FT. LEE, N.J.—ReefEdge Inc. said it provided the wireless network for the USENIX 2002 Annual Technical Conference held in Monterey, Calif., June 10-15, allowing conference attendees to communicate with their home office as well as to access e-mail and the Internet.

“In a matter of a few hours, we’ll be able to get a secure, manageable wireless LAN environment up and running for the more than 1,200 people expected to attend USENIX,” explained Richard Neves, vice president of engineering at ReefEdge. “This is another demonstrable validation of the power, sophistication and scalability of the ReefEdge Connect System.”
