REDWOOD CITY, Calif.-Siebel Systems will use software from SupportSoft Inc. to automate the process for repairing technical problems with handheld computers running the company’s software.
The Web-based software platform will allow Palm Inc. and Pocket PC device users running Siebel’s software to solve a variety of technical issues themselves, without outside support.
Separately on the wireless enterprise front, enterprise notification company EnvoyWorldWide Inc. said it will partner with KnowNow, Altio and Digital Evolution to ensure its products will interoperate with a variety of Web-based enterprise services.
