TORONTO-BlackBerrys will soon be available in France through Research In Motion Ltd.’s latest carrier deal.
The company said it will sell the BlackBerry wireless e-mail solution for enterprise customers in France running over SFR’s GPRS network. The deal is the latest in a series of major carrier partnerships for RIM.
“Access to corporate e-mail is the keystone of the development strategy of data services for companies,” said Jean-Pierre Champion, general manager for enterprise and professional activity at SFR. “RIM enables us to answer this need with a packaged, simple and strong solution, thanks to the integrated keyboard, in particular, and the long battery life.”
