STOCKHOLM, Sweden-Ericsson AB denied a rumor that Microsoft Corp. is making a bid to buy the telecom equipment maker, reaffirming a statement made by its chairman, Michael Treschow, earlier this week that the company is not in takeover talks.
The rumor drove Ericsson’s share up 2.5 percent.
