ZUG, Switzerland-Swiss carrier Sunrise will use BMD Wireless’ Wireless Application Messaging Server in its core network infrastructure to offer services based on the short messaging service standard.
“Mobile originated text messaging to interactive applications and services is a major driver for Sunrise to secure new sources of revenue and provide advanced services to corporate customers,” said Oddmund Braten, the carrier’s head of product development.
