TOKYO-NTT DoCoMo Inc. said it will restructure its European subsidiaries in an attempt to improve its effectiveness and to integrate the company’s European operations, especially to promote its i-mode and third-generation services.
The restructuring will see DoCoMo’s London-based subsidiary serve as its European headquarters, change its name from DoCoMo Europe UK Ltd. to DoCoMo Europe Ltd. and oversee the company’s three existing European subsidiaries.
The restructure is scheduled for September.
