ISSY-LES-MOULINEAUX, France-Wireless solution provider Wavecom SA recently reported second-quarter results that include an increase in revenues.
The company said its total revenues were $135.5 million, up 84 percent compared with the $73.5 million it reported in the year-ago quarter and up 25 percent from the $108.2 recorded in the first quarter of this year. Wavecom credits strong sales in the Asian market, which accounted for 82.2 percent of total revenues, for the increased revenues. The company also said sales of its WISMO modules accounted for 93.2 percent of its revenues.
