LEXINGTON, Mass.-Informio, which was founded in 2000 to provide wireless voice access to enterprise applications, has shut down its operations, according to a report on VentureWire.
Messages sent to the company were not immediately returned. The company’s Web site is no longer operational.
Informio secured $42 million in first-round financing in 2000 with the plan to team with wireless carriers to sell wireless voice access to corporate applications.
