T-Mobile launches PDA

BELLEVUE, Washington, United States-T-Mobile USA, which is known as VoiceStream Wireless in most of the country, launched its T-Mobile-branded Windows Powered Pocket PC Phone Edition for its T-Mobile and VoiceStream customers.

The US$600 voice-enabled personal digital assistant (PDA) is powered by Microsoft’s software, allowing users access to Internet Explorer, Outlook, MSN Messenger, Windows Media Player, Word and Excel applications. In addition, the color screen handset includes a hands-free headset, a built-in speaker phone, two-way text messaging capabilities, a Pocket PC docking cradle, an Infrared port and a standard Secure Digital slot.
