BEDMINSTER, N.J.-Verizon Wireless Inc. reported customers who sign up for either a one- or two-year service agreement for the carrier’s Express Network Unlimited plan between August 1 and September 30 will receive one month access free, and either a $20 instant rebate on a Mobile Office connectivity kit or a $50 rebate on a Sierra Wireless AirCard 555.
Verizon Wireless also announced new pricing plans for its Freeup prepay service as well as mail-in rebates for certain handsets or replenishment cards. Beginning today customers who sign up for service will be charged 30 cents per minute for weekday minutes and 15 cents per minute on nights and weekends. Customers also will be charged 15 cents per minute for calls made to other Verizon Wireless customers at any time.
Customers who sign up for the prepay service beginning Aug.1 also will be eligible for a $30 mail-in rebate or a $50 Reup card with the purchase of a Kyocera 2135 handset, or if two people sign up, a $50 handset rebate or a $75 Reup card per phone.
