ELMWOOD PARK, N.J.-Tower siting and management services provider Berliner Communications Inc. hired Magnus Ojert as chief operating officer, replacing Doreen Trant.
Ojert most recently was the president and COO of qServe Communications, and he also has held senior positions at Nextel Communications Inc. and Nextel International.
“Our board of directors and investors are happy that we have someone whose operating experience is so strong,” said Rich Berliner, chief executive officer of Berliner Communications. “With the continued support from Greenhill Capital and the more experienced ops team, I think the next 12 to 18 months will be strong for us.”
