PARIS-Alcatel said it signed a GSM expansion contract with OPT in New Caledonia. The expansion will increase OTP’s network, which operates under the Mobilis brand name, from 75,000 subscribers to more than 100,000 subscriber by year-end.
The value of the contract was not disclosed.
The Mobilis GSM 900 MHz network has more than 75,000 subscribers.
