MUNICH, Germany-T-Mobile said two of its subsidiaries will contribute to helping the victims of the flooding in parts of Europe.
RadioMobile in the Czech Republic is donating about $16,000 to a special fund announced by the Czech Red Cross to provide humanitarian aid for the flooded areas of the country.
In Austria, T-Mobile Austria is supporting the victims of the floods by supplying a number of mobile phones with free credit for the flood helpers. The operator also began a donation campaign via short message service. Donators will pay about $9.80 with their next telephone bills, which will be given to the flood water direct emergency help campaign of the radio station O3.
