DUSSELDORF, Germany-Nokia Corp. said it has signed a contract to supply a digital TETRA professional mobile radio system to Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG).
The solution is “the most cost-effective alternative to meet the functional requirements in the subway area with innovative digital mobile communications,” according to Holger Seedorf, vice director for information and communication at BVG.
