GREEN BAY, Wis.-Cellcom announced it is partnering with St. Norbert College in Wisconsin to provide 50 students living in a new campus dorm with wireless services.
Students in the new dorm received a wireless phone instead of a traditional landline phone. The wireless phone offers unlimited local minutes on campus and the same long distance rates that apply to the campus’s landline services. Students can also use wireless phones for test messaging, roaming calls, caller ID, voice mail and call forwarding.
“The wireless phones eliminated the need to rewire each room and also provide the flexibility college students need,” said John Barnes, St. Norbert college’s facilities director.
