M/A Com begins Interop 2002 Tour

LOWELL, Mass.-M/A Com Inc. began its multicity, nationwide Interop 2002 Tour this week in the northwestern United States to demonstrate NetworkFirst, a solution for communications interoperability between public-safety agencies.

At each stop on the tour, the company said it will connect to the existing communications networks to demonstrate how NetworkFirst uses Internet Protocol to connect varying equipment and systems.

“Full interoperability is best achieved with a communications solution at the network level,” said John Vaughan, vice president of M/A-Com. “M/A-Com is proud to offer a cost-effective, easy-to-deploy solution to address this critical issue.”
