Inktomi cuts jobs

FOSTER CITY, Calif.-Inktomi Corp. announced it will cut about 20 percent of its staff, or about 85 positions, a move the company said would better align it in the current economic environment.

The company also said it expects to report revenues of approximately $20 million and pro forma net loss in the range of five to seven cents per share for the upcoming quarter.

The company’s stock was trading around 30 cents after the news.
