with CollectiveGood on recycling program
SAN FRANCISCO-Working Assets, which sells phone, wireless, credit card and Internet services, announced it will team with mobile phone recycling company CollectiveGood to get its customers to recycle their used mobile phones. Further, Working Assets will donate the proceeds from the used phone sales to the 50 nonprofits the company works to support.
CollectiveGood works to recycle used mobile phones by refurbishing them and putting them back into use in developing countries.
“We’re glad to give our customers another way to help causes they already support when they use Working Assets services, at no cost to them,” said Laura Scher, the company’s chief executive officer.
