Cambridge Silicon Radio, Samsung enter Bluetooth chip agreement

RICHARDSON, Texas-Cambridge Silicon Radio signed a volume price agreement with Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co, Ltd. to purchase 1 million BlueCore2 Bluetooth chips from CSR next year. SEMCO is expected to use the chips in modules to provide Bluetooth capability to a range of end products including laptop computers, personal digital assistants and other consumer devices.
