SANTA BARBARA, Calif.-Somera Communications announced its support for the mobile network expansion of BASE, a Belgium-based subsidiary of KPN Mobile that boasts more than 1 million subscribers.
Somera has provided BASE new and re-deployed telecom infrastructure equipment and deployment services for BASE’s network expansion. “By having aligned our resources to accelerate penetration of the European market, we believe Somera is strongly positioned to capitalize on relationships with European wireless operators,” said Rick Darnaby, chief executive officer of Somera.
