HONG KONG-A top Qualcomm Inc. executive said his company is undergoing talks to bring its cdma2000 technology to Hong Kong and Taiwan, according to press reports.
Three Taiwanese carriers are reported to be leaning toward the cdma2000 protocol, while four of the six mobile carriers in Hong Kong have not yet made third-generation technology choices.
