HELSINKI, Finland-Nokia recently announced two contracts for its TETRA network using IP technology.
Nokia will join with Moratel to implement the TETRA system in Morocco. TETRA will be the first digital professional mobile radio system in the country, providing voice and data communication for services including public safety and security, transportation, utilities, construction and emergency services.
Nokia will also deliver a TETRA system to Bulgarian National Service Border Police. The network will cover the border between Bulgaria and Turkey providing enhanced security applications including automatic vehicle location solutions.
