BOSTON-TDK Systems introduced its Bluetooth application version 1.3 software designed to allow Bluetooth devices to exchange voice, images and data in support of advanced applications including MMS and imaging applications.
The company explained the software will enable users to transfer images between picture phones, laptops and personal computers without having to pay for data transmission charges.
TDK also said it has improved its Bluetooth pairing process with the new software and included a Bluetooth Hardcopy Cable Replacement Profile allowing users to print on Bluetooth-enabled printers.
The updated software is available with the company’s Bluetooth PC Cards and USB adapters and as a free download to users who have already invested in its previous devices.
