LONDON-According to a new survey from the Global Mobile Suppliers Association (GSM), Latin America shows one of the highest levels of mobile banking services in the world, although only 25 percent of the population in the region have bank accounts.
The quarterly mobile portals survey also found that almost all North American portals added leisure-related, games, television/movie listings, nightlife information, community services and stock trading to their portals. Unlike their European counterparts, portals in the Americas did not have adult entertainment services.
