SANTA CLARA, Calif.-Zoran Corp. said it has collaborated with Digital 5 Inc. to enable wireless networked DVD players. It will allow consumers to stream digital pictures, music and video clips stored on a personal computer into the living room to be played on a television and home theater system.
“The goal of our Netplay development effort and close collaboration with Zoran was to enable companies like SONICblue to create a new category of wirelessly networked products, offering completely new capabilities for their customers,” said Ron Stevens, president and chief executive officer at Digital 5 Inc.
