ZUG, Switzerland-bmd wireless AG has added new features to its Personal Call Collector, a solution that records information on missed calls when a subscriber is out of coverage or not reachable.
PCC notifies the subscribers of the telephone number, date and time of the attempted calls and delivers the information via a short message. bmd believes the solution generates voice revenue through call-backs as well as the short messages.
“The PCC provides wireless carriers the opportunity to further capitalize on voice generating value added services through the power of SMS as a personal communication service,” explained Primo Amrein, business development manager of bmd.
