NEEDHAM, Mass.-General Dynamics Network Systems announced its wireless services unit has been granted TL 9000 quality certification following an audit of its business practices by Bureau Veritas Quality International.
“The road leading up to the certification was challenging,” said Michael Chandler, president of General Dynamics. “Not only did our wireless services face the normal tasks related to a new certification effort, we decided to take on the task of accomplishing a virtual certification audit-a first for our company and a first for BVQI.”
BVQI’s TL 9000 auditor Frank Sidorowicz said General Dynamics’ wireless services unit had no non-conformances, minor or otherwise, unusual during an initial certification audit.
