CINCINNATI-Roto-Rooter Inc. said it will install wireless solutions using Gearworks Web-based applications and Nextel Communications Inc.’s handsets and network for its more than 1,500 field technicians designed to improve quality and support the company’s customer service.
The wireless offering will integrate Gearworks Etrace mobile work force management software into Nextel’s i58sr handset, which has GPS functionality and support for location-based Java and WAP applications.
