MEXICO CITY-Mexican operator Iusacell has launched commercial cdma2000 1x services using equipment from Lucent Technologies. The service is Mexico’s first 1x offering.
Iusacell, partially owned by U.S.-based Verizon, which also operates a 1x network, has more than 2.2 million clients.
