WOBURN, Mass.-Boston Communications Group Inc. reported $21.1 million in revenue for the fourth quarter of 2002, a 48-percent increase compared with the $14.3 million the company reported for the fourth quarter of 2001. For the year revenue increased from $66.3 million in 2001 to $70.9 million last year.
Net income for the fourth quarter increased from a loss of $286,000 in 2001, a loss of 2 cents per share, to a profit of $1.9 million last year, a return of 11 cents per share. For the year, net income jumped from $816,000 in 2001, a return of 5 cents per share, to $3.4 million last year, a return of 19 cents per share.
BCGI also said it signed multi-year contracts with a pair of GSM wireless operators to implement its Voyager Billing and Customer Care solution,

BCG said the Voyager application would provide both NPI Wireless and Westlink Communications with an end-to-end solution for customer management, including retail operations, billing, invoicing and customer care.
Financial terms of the contracts were not released.
