Motorola debuts handset targeted at women

NEW YORK-Motorola Inc. said it has introduced a new handset known as i95cl for women, a pearlized pink device with sleek looks and the “color of the season.”

The launch is part of Baby Phat’s New York Fashion Week festivities.

“I’m a girl’s girl. I like everything with a heaping dose of femininity,” said Kimora Lee Simmons of Kimora Lee Simmons Ltd., which worked with Motorola to create the handset. “It’s revolutionary to target a phone to women, but it’s very much in line with the mindset of my customer.”
