WOODBURY, N.Y.-Comverse and Avaya Inc. said they have teamed to provide a new managed service offering of solutions and services for telecommunications providers, in response to carrier efforts to reduce capital and operational expenses.
Avaya Global Services will provide managed services to support Comverse solutions, including voice mail, prepaid and short message services.
“The joint offering will enable service providers worldwide to rapidly deploy Comverse’s open, standards-based enhanced services solutions on an outsourced basis, with customer support from Avaya Global Services,” the companies said.
