NEW ORLEANS-PCTel Inc., an Internet access products and wireless mobility software provider, announced its Segue Roaming Client for PocketPC. With this release, PocketPC users can now realize the same Wi-Fi roaming benefits that the Segue Roaming Client laptop users now have, said the company.
The product supports the Dell Axim X5, the Toshiba e740 and the HP iPAQ and other popular PocketPC devices. The Segue Roaming Client gives users all of the features available on laptop platforms, but it is engineered to deal with the constraints of PocketPC devices such as memory and display space.
In addition, PCTel launched its Value Added Reseller program designed to create a network of solutio providers delivering systems built on its Segue Wi-Fi products.
