TOKYO-DDI Pocket, the largest PHS service provider in Japan, will launch international roaming services with Taiwan PHS provider FITEL. DDI Pocket announced. Users of the DDI Pocket PHS service will be able to use their PHS handsets in Taiwan starting 1 April.
It will be the first international PHS services for Japanese carriers. A user of the new service will be charged daily service charges of 100 yen (US$0.83) and 40 yen (US$0.33) per minute communications fees.<
