SAN DIEGO-Leap Wireless International Inc. filed an extension with the Securities and Exchange Commission noting its 10-K report filing would be delayed until the middle of April.
The company noted it has been in negotiations with its creditors that have caused key terms and provisions of its financial results “to remain in flux.”
Leap, which said that under any plan of reorganization with its creditors it expected little to no value from its Cricket operations, did report approximately $618.5 million in total revenues for 2002 compared with $255.2 million for 2001. Net losses for the year are expected to climb from $483.3 million in 2001 to $648.5 million for last year.
