BELLEVUE, Wash.-Wireless and Internet software maker InfoSpace announced it added several new top executives, moves the company said were part of an effort to redefine the company’s focus and business.
Kathleen Rae, a former executive at Ignition Partners and Nextlink Communications Inc., will serve as InfoSpace’s president and chief operating officer. David Rostov will work as chief financial officer and Brian McManus will be executive vice president of search and directory.
The moves come just a few weeks after the company filed suit against Naveen Jain, the founder and former CEO of InfoSpace. The company said Jain and Kevin Marcus misappropriated InfoSpace trade secrets and confidential information and wrongfully interfered with the company’s contractual relationships.
