KANSAS CITY, Mo.-Licensing company Uclick and content developer PaletSoft Inc. announced they will offer daily Garfield comic strips to mobile phone users under the GoComics brand.
“The idea for a daily comic strip application came after traveling abroad. I couldn’t access Garfield and missed my daily chuckle,” said Mark Weber, PaletSoft’s chief executive officer. “We approached Uclick. They understood the market potential for a comic-based application-giving us the right combination of people, talents and top resources to make it happen.”
