ATLANTA-Numerex Corp. announced its Australian subsidiary DCX Systems Inc. will partner with Telstra to expand the availability of its Securitel service, a derived channel based alarm security service.
Under the five-year agreement, DCX will provide Telstra with the hardware and exchange equipment needed to expand and enhance the network throughout Australia. Telstra plans to release a list of covered locations and deployment dates later this month, but it said it expects deployment to be completed by the end of this year. DCX already provides host software and hardware support and module repair for the existing Securitel network, available in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide.
