HACKENSACK, N.J.-Wireless enterprise company GoAmerica Inc. said it will postpone its quarterly conference call due to “strategic opportunities that may enhance the company’s liquidity and revenue potential.” The company said it is actively reviewing several opportunities, and it will hold a conference call at a “more appropriate time.”
The news came in conjunction with the company’s first-quarter report, which showed declining revenues and losses. The company reported revenues of $3.1 million, down from the $6.8 million in the previous quarter. The company’s net loss was $3 million, down from the $8.2 million during the previous quarter. The company said the declines are mainly due to its new relationship with EarthLink, which is now GoAmerica’s primary provider of network access, equipment, billing and support.
Separately, GoAmerica said developers will now be able to use Sun Microsystems Inc.’s Java technology to deploy business applications to mobile phones. GoAmerica said it extended its Go.Web software development kit to include new Java application programming interfaces.
