ALLENTOWN, Pa.-Agere Systems said it has unveiled three high-speed chips and software reference design for both current and next-generation multiservice telecom equipment pieces, including wireless.
“These bridge chips and reference design software are key pieces to the puzzle for increasing capacity and lowering total system cost of current and next-generation multiservice equipment, especially requiring traffic management capabilities,” said Mark Pinto, vice president of Agere’s processing, aggregation and switching division.
