KAMPALA, Uganda-Alcatel said it won two contracts to supply Uganda Telecom with GSM equipment for radio access and core network infrastructure.
“We have been in a long-term partnership with Alcatel in order to build high-quality networks that meet the demands of our growing GSM subscriber base,” said Aimable Mpore, acting managing director of Uganda Telecom.
The value of the contracts was not disclosed.
