ATLANTA-Vivato said its outdoor Wi-Fi switch extends the range of Wi-Fi and provides security and management features that allow service providers to develop new business models for broadband delivery.
“Vivato’s planar phased array antenna is a unique architecture that optimizes Wi-Fi deployment options for delivering wireless wide area networks to business customers,” explained Charles McNamee, chief executive officer of U.S. RealTel and its subsidiary Cypress Communications, which provides in-building broadband communications services. “We are currently in trials with the Vivato switch at our Atlanta headquarters and anticipate that Vivato will be a critical player in helping us to build our national Wi-Fi network.”
