WARSAW, Poland-Lucent Technologies Inc. said it has signed a contract to expand and upgrade SFERIA’s cdma2000 1x network here and in the surrounding areas.
“This agreement will enable us to offer our services to a greater number of business and residential customers, assuring high-quality voice calls, e-mail and fast Internet access, all available from a single wireless terminal,” said Wladyslaw Bawiec, president and chief executive officer of SFERIA.
The carrier offers wireless local loop services.
