ALEXANDRIA, Va.-Paging and messaging carrier Metrocall Holdings Inc. retired its remaining $11.5 million outstanding aggregate principal, marking its final retirement of all debt balances issued in connection with the company’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
“The early retirement of Metrocall’s outstanding debt balances represents a significant milestone for our organization and stakeholders,” said Vincent Kelly, the carrier’s president and chief executive officer. “This accomplishment was made possible by the hard work and focus of Metrocall’s employees as well as the strong support we have received from our pre-reorganization constituents who stuck by us and believed we could make it happen.”
In other paging news, Arch Wireless Inc. announced it completed the optional redemption of its $30 million principal amount, and it has redeemed a total of $170 million in principal to date.
