Former U.S. Wireless execs charged with fraud

SAN RAMON, Calif.-Two former executives of E911 company U.S. Wireless were charged with defrauding investors, according to press reports.

Oliver Hilsenrath and David Klarman of U.S. Wireless allegedly funneled $3.6 million into consulting companies. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for Northern California, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are pursuing the case. U.S. Wireless went bankrupt and has sold its assets.
