BELLEVUE, Wash.-Western Wireless Corp. said it will redeem all of its 10.5-percent senior subordinated notes due 2006 valued at $187.1 million and 10.5-percent senior subordinated notes due 2007 valued at $196 million Aug. 16.
The carrier said the redemption price, which will be paid Aug. 18 because Aug. 16 is not a business day, will be paid in cash with the 2006 notes paid in an amount equal to 101.75 percent of the principal amount of the notes and accrued interest from June 1, and the 2007 notes paid in an amount equal to 103.5 percent of the principal amount of the notes and accrued interest from Aug. 1.
