MANKATO, Minn.-Rural telecommunications provider HickoryTech Corp. reported $3.968 million in wireless revenues during the second quarter, which was a slight improvement compared with the $3.963 million the company reported for the second quarter of 2002.
HickoryTech posted improved wireless revenues despite a drop in roaming revenues that the company hopes to turn around during the third quarter of this year following the implementation of a new TDMA roaming agreement it signed with AT&T Wireless Services Inc. The company also posted an increase in customer churn from 1.97 percent last year to 2.95 percent this year.
