Moviso to offer prepaid ring tones via 7-Eleven, AT&T Wireless

LOS ANGELES-Under an innovative new marketing agreement, wireless data company Moviso will offer prepaid ring-tone cards featuring musicians from record company BMG. Moviso will sell the cards through 7-Eleven and AT&T Wireless Services Inc.

“BMG recognizes the tremendous marketing and revenue opportunities in prepaid entertainment, and our relationship with Moviso provides us with a compelling platform to get our music in front of consumers while creating visibility for our artists,” said Kieve Huffman, senior director of digital marketing and licensing for BMG Strategic Marketing. “In addition, we are able to extend our reach into the convenience store environment.”

Moviso, which has been selling prepaid ring tone and game cards for close to a year, said it has distributed more than 1 million cards.
